Using Innovative Video Technology and Augmented Reality to Solve Problems in the Era of COVID-19

With the arrival of COVID-19 and widespread travel restrictions, our operations IT team had to get creative. Maintaining and repairing equipment at our more than 800 facilities around the globe is of vital importance. Many times, ADM engineers in our plants will call upon an expert on our team to help with a specific piece of equipment. In the past, this has required that the expert travel to the plant. But in the time of COVID-19, the team had to figure out how to bring in the experts without travel. Read more.

ADM’s Ganador Increases Commitment to Mexican Pet Shelters During the Pandemic

This year, COVID-19 has exacerbated Mexico’s problem with stray animals, mostly dogs. Financial difficulties brought about by the pandemic have led many families to abandon their pets. Shelters have reported an increase in calls reporting stray dogs on the streets and received more requests for pet food. At the same time, shelters are witnessing a decline in donations they usually receive. ADM has stepped up our support to pet shelters, because we understand the importance of responsible pet ownership and are committed to providing nutrition to pets who love us unconditionally.
